The Wanda Project (TWP) is a contemporary dance company based in Columbia, SC. TWP is a national roster of dancers, selected by director Wanda K. W. Ebright, specifically for their unique ability to move freely between classical ballet, Graham-based modern and jazz genres, while exhibiting a high degree of musicality and artistry.

Membership in TWP is by invitation only. The company was established in 2005, and has since performed in the Piccolo Spoleto Dance Festival (Charleston, SC), the Panoply Arts Festival (Huntsville, AL), BalletFest Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) and the Denver Independent Choreographers Project (Denver, CO).

In the 2007-2008 season, they are scheduled to appear at the annual convention of the South Carolina Alliance for Health, Phys. Ed., Recreation and Dance (Myrtle Beach, SC), the Jazz On Tap Festival (Atlanta, GA), BalletFest Atlanta, and a holiday performance of the Hartsville Civic Chorale (Hartsville, SC).

A tour of South Carolina is scheduled for May 2008, to include Columbia, Sumter and Hartsville. Company members are also available to teach classes in ballet, modern or jazz genres on a contractual basis.

Full company members must have completed undergraduate school, and must be over 21 years of age. Apprentice company members may be students, and may learn company repertory, but will perform at the Director’s discretion. Company members and apprentices are available for teaching residencies, private lessons in ballet, modern, jazz or Pilates, or performances. To schedule a TWP activity or performance in your area, please contact Wanda K. W. Ebright.
